Consumer organisation looks at mobile telephone costs in Spain

According to the Federación de Consumidores en Acción (Facua), the cheapest mobile telephone service providers in Spain are Eroski for 'pay as you go' mobile telephones (aka 'cell' phones), whereas for mobiles with contracts the least expensive providers are Yoigo and Carrefour.

The Facua study looked at tariffs offered by Movistar, Vodafone, Orange and Yoigo and five 'virtual' mobile providers (Eroski Móvil, Carrefour Móvil, Pepephone, Lebara Móvil and Happy Móvil).

For reference, my own Spanish mobile telephone is on the Vodafone network and is 'pay as you go'.
