Thunderbolts and lightning - very very frightening me

There are forecasts of heavy rains and high winds in the Murcia region over the coming days.

Rainfall of upto 100 litres per square metre in 12 hours is thought possible as are winds of upto 70 KmH; apparently the meteorological conditions for the next few days are thought to be very similar to those that occurred in 1973 when the River Segura burst its banks.
